I’m an Encaustic Artist and Smartphone Photographer based in North Cornwall.
When in my studio, I work with hot molten beeswax, hotplates and heat guns, when out and about, you'll either find me painting plein air, or using my Smartphone Camera to capture my inspiration.
Alongside my fascination for hot wax painting, and occasional traditional painting methods, I’ve reconnected with my love of photography... Offering Smartphone Photography Workshops and Photoshoots with Jet Black Squares, combining art and photography, and teaching people how to take great photos on their phones whilst out exploring the surrounding countryside.

Studio information
My Studio is opposite Wainhouse Country Store and the Gulf Garage - the entrance is directly between the two, opposite BS Air.
There is ample parking on the drive... you will see my studio, around to the right hand side of the house.

I run online and in person encaustic wax art workshops, sharing the ancient art of hot wax painting... A beautiful immersive experience, using irons, stylus, heatguns and hotplates to melt, glide, and manipulate wax into its finished form.
I also help you master your smartphone, again, online or in person... helping you to capture photos and memories that you will love to look back over.
Both are suitable whether you claim not to draw a straight line, or you're a professional artist. Teenagers through to Grandparents...!
