Judy is proud to have been chosen by The Royal Mail to design the Christmas Stamps for 2024. Judy was a Production Assistant at the BBC in London until she left in 1971 to raise her family. That is when she began to paint. Since then she has had many exhibitions. She particularly likes to paint commissions of people's houses, life stories, favourite places and past times.

Studio information
Judy Joel's studio and gallery can be found close to Mousehole harbour front. Walk up Duck Street and take the very first turning to the right, into Abbey Place. Abbey Place is a cul de sac which bends round to the left and right. Walk right up to the end where you will see the studio and gallery on the left , right next to Alice Bradley's studio.
