Alice Bradley

Ceramics

I have always been fascinated with clay and it's ancient relationship with human kind. Throwing is a ritualistic therapy for me, and my works are an expression of this process.

When studying Fine Art and sculpture at Manchester school of Art, my work largely consists of slab-built vessels, taking a playful approach to form and glaze. I have always been fascinated with the versatility of clay and its constant, ancient relationship with humankind. Now living and working in Penzance as a studio potter, I continue to navigate my relationship with clay throwing on a kick wheel.
