I create mixed media artworks, metalwork sculptures & jewellery.
Professionally creating for over 30 years. Living & working in St Ives I have a small gallery displaying my pieces & studio space within the town. My work is hugely inspired by living by the coast.
I started 2024 exploring a new direction; linking metals with my paintings. Generating textured plaster surfaces & combining with metal powders such as iron, copper & bronze. Then manipulating the finishes to produce distressed & patinated effects. This work links with my 3D metalwork & also reflecting the Cornish mining industry & natural elements surrounding us.

Studio information
The Sloop studios are located in the corner of the car park behind the famous Sloop Inn. There is another entrance off Back Road by Norway Stores with steps down to the studio, which is unlocked once the studios have opened up for the day.
There is a public car park next to the studios. The area within the studios is flat but has cobbled areas. There are public toilets nearby.

Alongside a collection of jewellery inspired by Barbara Hepworth & Troika pottery, limpets are one of my passions which are reflected in a range of cast silver shells from Cornish beaches.
In addition to my own gallery on Island Square & studio at the Sloop studios I am also involved with the co-operative art gallery Back Road Artworks in St Ives & a member of the Cornish Crafts Association.
