I had an unconventional childhood in west Cornwall and Snowdonia as a member of a highly artistic family. After lengthy academic training in non-art subjects I've worked outdoors most of my adult life and it's the countryside that inspires me most. Mainly a landscape painter in oils, pastels and watercolour I've exhibited in Cornwall and elsewhere in the UK, including London. My work is included in many private collections and has been shown in Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions five times and shortlisted on four other occasions.
