I see everything as textures shapes and colours. If it catches my eye and makes me feel WOW, then it becomes a subject for me to work with. The last few years have been filled with oil paintings of ropes, nets and fishing debris I have found abandoned on beaches. My work is very textural, using thick scumble and the colours make my mouth water! It is almost an abstract image, whilst still containing the realism of knotted intertwined ropes and nets.
My other work is in a variety of mediums of natural forms and seascapes, but again, highly textural and using strong combinations of colours working with and against each other.

I am in a small studio in my garden which can only be accessed by steps. A further exhibition of my work will be nearer to the house which is on flat ground.
Parking is nearby at the entrance to Rose hill lane. I am about 50 yards along the lane, directly in front of you.
Family friendly
I have portfolios of all my work, available for perusal.
I will accept commissions from any of these, or any ideas you may wish to discuss.
