Julie creates oil paintings that are inspired by the Cornish landscape and coastline.
She also produces hand-built, fully-functional decorative ceramics, and is well known for her distinctive jugs.
Drawing and painting have always been an integral part of Julie’s work and first point is always with an emphasis on colour. Being born and living in Cornwall Julie is inspired by the beauty of the colour and light of the land and sea. Her artistic vision is continually changing and growing. She is happiest when creating and experimenting, her ethos is to never stop learning.
