I work mainly in oils. The paintings often have a feeling of tropical places, hotter climes, places that you might have visited on your travels. I build up the paint over months and years to achieve an impasto surface and am trying to create an atmosphere of mystery and a sense of narrative. Outside my studio we have created a tropical garden which has become a source of inspiration. Plants feature increasingly in my artwork. I've also been exploring mixed media using collage, ink and acrylic paint. These are usually on a smaller scale.

The studio is 200m down Wharf road, which is close to St Uny church in Lelant. There is free parking available near the church which would be advisable as there is only limited parking at the studio. There is also a car park on Dynamite Quay (signed as 'Beach car park') which is only a five minute walk.
There is a step up to the studio, but other than that it is easily accessible. There is limited parking for the elderly and infirm. In addition there is a beautiful tropical garden which people are welcome to explore
