Our studio is open 24th, 25th and 26th May 11am-5pm and 30th, 31st May and 1st June 11am-5pm. Please note we are closed on 27th, 28th and 29th May. Dogs welcome.

My paintings are a response to where my inner and outer worlds meet, I express their language through colour and abstractions often inspired by the land and sea. My process involves inviting imagination to dance with the reality of things, always searching beyond the obvious, exploring what’s asking to be found through the enchanting medium of watercolour as well as acrylics and mixed media.

I feel most of my painting's come from a fragment of time or emotion, they become a conversation between myself, the paint and colour and are often led by intuition.

my illustrative work is inspired by times gone by and the realm of imagination. I have work in private collections and have written and illustrated articles for the international magazine Teddy Bear Times.

i will have a variety of work for open studios including a collection of small 7.5 cm square watercolour paintings, larger framed watercolour paintings, cards and prints.

i would very much like to welcome you to my studio which I share with my wonderful daughter Saffron who mainly works with drawing media and textiles.
