Hello! My name is Simon and I just love to create unusual physical art with bits and pieces that catch my eye. Part of the fun is finding these items from various places like car boots, junk shops, charity outlets and scrap yards. An item can trigger an idea, which will then develop into a completed fun to look at item.
I don't really plan anything, an idea grows from the items in front of me. I believe it's important to keep a clear and open mind and let ideas and methods come from outside this present time. Each piece is hand built by me from scratch, my aim was to produce items that would be useful, so clocks seemed like a good idea, but I plan on also building eye catching kinetic items, too in the future.
