My workshop extends on stilts over the Gweek creek. A beautiful place for creating my botanical tiles and to run workshops. I’ve been playing with clay since my twenties as my mother was a ceramics teacher. My enthusiasm was reignited after making tiles for my house 25 years ago and I've since made many ceramic murals which I’ve sent to many countries, as far as Australia. I roll plants into clay and sometimes add a background or birds and animals .I make backsplashes as well as decorative external tiles.
I’ve been involved with teaching for many years and run ceramic projects for the Exeter medical students as well as one day and 4 session courses. This allows me to play with many different techniques from Pit fire to Raku. Information on my workshops is available on my website.
Workshops offered. Please contact me for more information.
