RBrayWood will be exhibiting with a collective of seven artists at the Eco Park Porthtowan
I’ve enjoyed working with wood for over 10 years, I particularly like the fact that the grain patterns and colours mean that no two pieces are the same. I prefer simple forms and flowing curves to highlight the natural beauty of the wood although I’ve recently started experimenting with inlaying ultra-fine coloured glitter into some pieces for an eye-catching effect.
Most of the items are made from elm and sycamore wood from right outside my workshop, others have been rescued from the firewood pile or reclaimed from old furniture.
