I’m inspired by big dramatic skies, panoramic landscape of patchwork fields as well as the small everyday delights of the nature I’m surrounded by in my everyday walking; I take many photographs to remind & inform my work and sketch en plein air too- I’m so immersed in the natural world that I frequently commit ideas to paper or board late at night or in the early morning.
My earlier work is predominantly small mixed media images using printed papers, vintage paper, reclaimed driftwood, palimpsest collage, watercolour, acrylic, pen & ink, pastels & pencil.
Print making is also part of my practice, mainly Lino & mono printing.
The daily changing face of the landscape as the seasons progress provides a rich source of inspiration.
I’m currently exploring larger scale painting in acrylics focusing on those big Cornish skies, vibrant seascapes & vast landscapes seen from high points.

Lucerne Cottage is on the corner of Relubbus Lane & New Rd- the rear faces Relubbus lane while the front is on Luke's Lane.
please note there is no parking available on Luke's Lane but plenty on New Rd.
Please find a parking place on New Rd not Luke's Lane
There are two shallow granite steps down to the front door.
