I have been potting intermittently for many years, but only recently have I had the time ... and space in my studio up at Trencrom ... to pursue my love of clay on a more serious level.

Informed by a passion for cooking and travel, I mainly make rustic tableware and functional objects, which are coiled, pinched or moulded.  My pieces are intended for everyday use and are both simple and practical. I make things that I'd like to see on my own table.  That said, I have more recently started making some larger pieces inspired by the wild and rugged Penwith landscape.

My tableware is used at Blas Burgerworks in St Ives and also at Greenberry Café in Primrose Hill, London.

I work in stoneware clay and all of my larger pieces are handbuilt, although I constantly push myself to get to grips with throwing!
