I mainly work with sheets of copper and silver, to create one off pieces of jewellery by using my own method of drawing on copper with prismacolor pencils. The colour is built up in layers, some pieces having up to 30 layers to achieve the vibrancy of colour. Every piece is unique and is formed, sawn and textured by hand.

I have recently expanded my prismacolor metalwork into the wonderful world of Automaton and am enjoying combining these skills with painting, papier maché and wood. I am always inspired by the beauty and vivid Cornish countryside and love incorporating bright colour into my work.

Studio information

The Studio is situated in the hamlet of Trencrom, just off the B3322 (Old Coach Road) to St Ives. It is about ¼ mile from Trink Dairy. Parking is available on the road.

Access to The Studio is via a graveled courtyard, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users.
