Lyndsey Bradbury

Drawing, mixed media, painting, textiles

Lyndsey Bradbury works from the Pentus Wall Studio on Port Isaac’s harbour. She takes her inspiration from the local fishing catch, wildlife, rugged coast line, big seas and skies, providing limitless inspiration. Lyndsey paints fish, lobster and seabirds on reclaimed Delabole slate. Her other work includes embroidered panels , mixed media collage and pastel drawings. All of Lyndsey’s work explores and shows her love of fine detail, texture and colours.

The Pentus Wall Studio was originally a fish cellar built into the Port Isaac sea wall. It became my studio 7 years ago. I started taking part in Open Studio's every year and opened full time in 2021.
I'm originally from the Manchester area and went to Goldsmith's College to study constructed textiles in the late 80s before moving to Hampshire. I've had many jobs but nothing a fulfilling as teaching art at secondary level which I did before moving to Cornwall in 2015.

I've lived by the sea most if my life and continue to find it a never ending  source inspiration.
