Astrid Whitton

Ceramics

I'm lucky to be in my own garden studio which I never take for granted.

My jouney of creating ceramics offers an exciting and fast expanding artistic expression of love and reflection that is fixed in time. I have been making ceramics for over 20 years enjoying the journey of experimenting and artistry.

I work mainly on the wheel, I enjoying using St Agnes Clay, I also use porcelain and white stonewear depending on the creation. I also make my own glazes, and teach pottery from my studio or as a freelance potter with The Leach pottery with the Families and Outreach Projects.
