Born in Essex, Julia enjoyed a successful international career, with a decade spent in Munich showcasing her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions, also included collaborations on architectural projects, private and public fine art commissions, and teaching at the Volkshochschule. Julia also led fine art holidays, inspiring countless students with her dynamic approach to creativity. Many of her works now reside in private and public collections across the UK and Europe.
Julia's early studies at Falmouth School of Arts deeply influenced her practice and eventually inspired her to return to Cornwall in 2005. This return culminated in a sell-out show celebrating the Cornish marine landscape, affirming her reputation as a celebrated landscape artist.
Julia was selected for The Battle Contemporary Fine Art Fair in 2010, where she was awarded ‘Best Painting.’ This exhibition was judged by an esteemed panel chaired by CAV OMRI Romeo Di Girolamo PPRBA.
As a tutor and leader for Expressive Use of Colour and Perspective, Julia’s rich career, combined with her unlimited passion for teaching, offers students a unique opportunity to learn from an artist whose work embodies both technical mastery and an evocative use of colour and form. Her courses are infused with a deep understanding of expressive use of colour in perspective and her commitment to unlock creative potential.
Currently, Julia lives in Falmouth and works out of Krowji artists’ studios in Redruth, Cornwall.
