Q: Is entry to Cornwall Open Studios free of charge
A: Yes, absolutely free. And you might even be offered a tea or coffee!
Q: Does Cornwall Open Studios charge its Members a commission on sales?
A: No. COS takes no commission on sales, unlike many other organisations which represent artists. So, you can be 100% confident the money you pay will go to the creator of the work.
Q: What if I can’t get to a studio during Cornwall Open Studios?
A: Our website is open 24/7/365 days a year and our Members are encouraged to keep their page up-to-date, so there’s always new work to see. You can add them to your Visitor Account and contact them direct to make a mutually convenient appointment. And not forgetting social media – you can follow nearly all our Members on Facebook or Instagram.
Q: Can I buy from a member before the start of Cornwall Open Studios?
A: It’s up to each individual artist, but in principle, yes, you can buy at any time and their web page is open all year round. A Member may wish to keep back the work that’s featured in the COS brochure so visitors can see it in real life. Just contact them and ask.
